How It Works

  • Register & Log In: Create an account, pay the registration fee and log in.
  • Enrol Patients: Fill out the enrolment form for each patient. You will need an email address.
  • Send the Survey: The survey link is automatically sent to your patients email. View patient survey
  • Receive your results: Once the survey closes, you will receive a report with your individual results along with the group results.

About the survey

  • This Patient Satisfaction Survey is open to all anaesthetists in the Christchurch Private hospitals.
  • ANZCA CPD unit reviewed and confirmed this survey meets their Patient Experience Survey requirements (ANZCA correspondence #25386).
  • 15 completed surveys satisfy ANZCA CPD requirements for a patient experience survey.
  • This survey is designed for adults. Southern Cross National Medical Committee requested that only adults participate. Therefore, please limit survey to patients 18 and over.
  • The survey provides a postoperative nausea and vomiting audit.

History

The survey first ran in 2014, was initially paper based and has approval from Forte, St Georges and Southern Cross Christchurch. From 2024 all data is inputted by the anaesthetist and patient using their phone. The Southern Cross National Medical Committee SXNMC in 2015 reviewed, approved and supports the use of this survey for use in their hospitals.

Confidentiality and data use

As with earlier iterations, we make every effort to keep your personal data confidential. Data collection and analysis is now automated, thus your results are entirely confidential to yourself. Deidentified group data is used for group reporting, however the individual data remains confidential to yourself.
